Brandon & Lindsay
We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering us as potential parents to your child. As you read our profile, we hope we convey the loving, supportive, fun, and accepting family we would be for your child. Family is everything to us and we believe that will be visibly demonstrated through this adoption journey.
What It Means to Become Parents
Being parents will mean everything to us. It is something we have always known we wanted and hoped to be. Lindsay has always loved being around children. Whether it was the babysitting she did when she was younger or spending all the time she currently does with our niece, nephew, and goddaughters. She loves playing with them and doing all the fun things that children love. She cannot wait to do this with a child, while also instilling in and raising them to be kind, caring, and a genuine person. Brandon loves children and, being the oldest sibling and cousin in his large family, has a lot of experience being a great role model to a lot of children already. He cannot wait for the opportunity to teach the many life skills he was lucky enough to be taught by important people and mentors in his life. It is very important to him to raise our future child to be confident, successful, and strong. We know that our complimenting personalities and skills will make a great parenting team. We cannot wait to become parents together.
Our Individual Strengths
Our individual strengths make us a wonderful team and complement each other well. We believe these strengths also give us a solid foundation for being parents, providing a well-rounded home and support system for our future child.
Lindsay is highly organized, attentive, caring, and fun. Whether it is physically organizing a closet or organizing a vacation, she keeps everything and everyone on track. She makes sure to address everyone's needs and wants and never hesitates to show love to her friends and family. She is always looking for fun opportunities. The children in our lives know she will always play and be silly with them. One of her favorite things to do is dance and play makeup with our niece. She cannot wait to share all of this with our future child.
Brandon is very even keeled, dependable, giving, and loves to teach others. In any situation, he will stay calm and is always the person others turn to for advice, help, and to fix a problem. He is constantly doing things for others, like helping a friend with a house project or cooking and hosting a meal for the family. He loves to share his knowledge and skills and wants others to learn as much as he does. One of his favorite things is helping our nephew grow his new found interest of tools and building things. He cannot wait to give these qualities to a child in our home.
Our Leisure Time
We are a very active couple, so we look forward to our leisure time. During this time, one of our favorite things is to be with our friends and family. We often spend time with our niece, nephew and goddaughters and accompany them to the pool, an animal farm, the park, or just love playing with them at home! An afternoon with them is one of our favorite things. Additionally, Brandon loves to cook, so we are always hosting friends and family for meals.
We also love being outside. We enjoy sitting on our back patio, going for walks, and playing golf together as often as we can. Brandon has played golf since he was young, but he recently got Lindsay into the game and it is something we enjoy doing together any time we can. We hope to have a little one to teach and share this with as well.
We also both enjoy reading, working out, and listening to music.

Our House and Neighborhood
We love our home! We live in a fantastic and family-oriented neighborhood in the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri. We purchased our home with the intent that we would raise our family here, we have a lot of space with four bedrooms and a large backyard. We spend countless hours on our back patio. One of the more unique things about our home is that we renovated it ourselves. Lindsay loves to design, and Brandon makes it happen. We have enjoyed doing this together and are always looking for the next project.
The local elementary school is just up the street, which allows families to walk to school. We often walk around our neighborhood and cannot go a block without seeing other young families. There are several local parks nearby and we also have family events in the neighborhood and town and are looking forward to being participants! There are numerous nearby shops and restaurants, and we are just a short drive to the downtown area for sporting events, shows, the zoo, and much more. In addition, we belong to a local club with a pool and golf course that puts on many family events throughout the year such as a Halloween Party with Trunk-or-Treat, Breakfast with Santa, and Easter Egg Hunts!
Our Extended Families
Family is one of the most important aspects of our lives.
Lindsay comes from a small, but very close-knit extended family who all live nearby. Lindsay's parents are ten minutes away and we see them regularly. They cannot wait to become grandparents and to spoil and babysit. We also enjoy traveling with them each year to places like Grand Cayman, Hawaii, and Park City, Utah. Lindsay grew up with one sister who unfortunately passed away a couple of years ago. We keep her memory alive by talking about her regularly and doing some of her favorite things to honor her.
Brandon grew up in a large family that is close-knit as well. Brandon's parents were both teachers and live fifty minutes away and he is the oldest of five siblings. Brandon's oldest sister, her husband, and their twins, recently moved to be closer and we love spending as much time with them as possible. Brandon also has two other sisters. One lives in South Korea, and we visited her last year, and another who is an elementary teacher nearby. The youngest is Brandon's brother who is in high school, and we enjoy going to watch him in his sporting events. Since everyone is close by, we love hosting both our families for dinners and holidays. For example, each Christmas we invite everyone over for a full day of food and celebrating. We, and our families, cannot wait to add this child to the love and fun!
From Us to You
First and foremost, we want to thank you for taking the time to read and learn more about us and considering us as potential parents to your child. We know that becoming parents and raising a child is something that we will never take for granted and will do so with love, intent, and gratitude. We promise that if you choose us, we will give this child a safe, nurturing, loving, and opportunistic life to our fullest ability.
We met in college at the beginning of Brandon's freshman and Lindsay's junior year through our fraternity and sorority pairing for homecoming. We were paired to be dance partners in the homecoming's skit and dance competition and immediately knew we had a different and strong connection. After the homecoming events, we began dating and continued to do so for seven years. During that time, we both finished college, Lindsay began her career, and Brandon went to law school. We were married the summer after Brandon completed law school and passed the bar and have now been married for ten years.
Having children was something we always wanted and began trying to start a family after a couple years of marriage. We had recently purchased a home in a family friendly neighborhood within a fantastic school district and both had good, steady jobs, all in anticipation of starting a family. After a few years of trying and struggling to start a family on our own, we knew that our journey to becoming parents and having a child was going to look different than we originally thought. Adoption was something we always talked about and quickly realized that it was God's plan for us all along.
Family is one of the most important things in our lives and one of our highest values. Please know that if your child becomes a part of our family, they will be immediately loved and unconditionally accepted by not only our immediate family, but our extended families and friends as well. We will raise the child with morals and values of good character, kindness, and love.
As the child grows, we will continuously remind them of the significant role you have played in their life. Their adoption is part of their story, and we will always be open, honest, and make it known and do our best to answer any questions they may have. We will work with you to share letters, emails, and photos, and work together to make sure the child understands their background, origin, and other important aspects that let the child understand who they truly are.
To that end, thank you again for considering us as potential parents to your child. We know that the decision you are making is not easy and not to be taken lightly. However, through this process, we hope that we truly demonstrate that if you decide to choose us for your child, we will devote our lives to raising your child with all the love and support we have to give.
Sincerely,
Brandon & Lindsay
